Posted 11/9/2007: If you have not already submitted your volunteer hours log, please print and complete the log sheet (under documents in the left column). Your hours are important and anything you've done for the team (work at meets, attend meetings, chaperone, etc.) counts. Students may earn community service hours for helping at fund raising events, etc., and should complete the appropriate form (from guidance office). Students will need to have Teddi sign the form as the sponsor for their hours.

Posted 10/24/2007: IMPORTANT REGION INFORMATION: Please print this Permission Slip. Complete the form with parent signature and bring it with you to hand into Coach Alfonso before the bus ride to Orlando.You will have to provide transportation or arrange for carpooling for your athlete's trip back to Gainesville. There will not be a bus!

Posted 10/3/2007: It would be great if some of you could take pictures on the team trip. If you could try to get some shots of the team doing other activities as well as swimming such as eating, hanging out in the hotel, on the bus, etc. If you do get some pictures please send them to Madelon Mann at gatormann@gmail.com . She is putting together a presentation for the banquet. Thank you. -

Posted 8/19/2007: We have been given permission to use the Gainesville Country Club pool for diving practice (thank you Bob H. for taking care of this). At this point, our practice time will be from 3:30 - 5:00. However, depending upon any potential coaches schedule we may need to change this. All divers should plan to be at the Country Club pool at 3:30 on Monday, 8/20/2007. Need Driving Directions?

Posted 8/13/2007: On Thursday, Aug. 16 there is a New Student Orientation at the High School. We are looking for some swimmers and divers to be at the school from 11:30 - 12:30 to represent the swimming and diving team. Coaches Rinaldo and Alfonso will be there as well to answer any questions that new students might have about becoming part of the Buchholz High School Swimming and Diving Team. If you are able to come and help out that day, please send an e-mail to bhs.sdb@gmail.com.

Don't have time to see your regular physician? An alternative: Sport physicals are available for $25 at the Urgent Care Center located at 39th Ave. and 43rd St. If you are under 18, a parent will need to be present. Their hours of operation are M-F: 8 am - 8 pm and Sat.: 9 am - 4:30 pm
